Jeffrey Yachmetz Joins Greystone as Vice President of Development

Executive Joins from NorthStar Asset Management and Thor Equities to Spearhead Opportunistic Development Projects in New York City

Greystone announced today that Jeffrey Yachmetz has joined the company as Vice President of Development. Based in Greystone’s New York headquarters, Jeffrey reports directly to Thomas Ryan, Senior Vice President of Development.

Jeffrey brings 14 years of direct real estate development, construction, design and project management experience to Greystone, with a background in a broad variety of real estate development related disciplines ranging from pre-development due diligence assessments to project execution and delivery. Jeffrey will focus on Greystone’s new residential development projects in the New York City area, including Brooklyn.Prior to joining Greystone, Jeffrey held development roles at NorthStar Asset Management and Thor Equities where he was directly responsible for several high-profile real estate development projects in New York City and several major markets across the nation.

Jeffrey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the University of Rhode Island and a Master of Science degree from Columbia University in New York City. Jeff is also a licensed Professional Engineer.
