Mr. Litt is responsible for overseeing Greystone Monticello’s seniors housing bridge and mezzanine lending activities including origination, underwriting, and new investment strategies. In addition to Mr. Litt’s deep relationships with borrowers, owners, operators, and financial institutions, his extensive understanding of healthcare and multi-family markets was a driving force behind Monticello’s successful credit investment track record since 2014. Mr. Litt brings over 30 years of intensive real estate finance, development, and construction experience to the organization. Additionally, Mr. Litt has been hired as a trusted partner to step-in, manage, and successfully turn around distressed seniors housing and skilled nursing assets, working on behalf of banks, financial institutions, and bankruptcy estates. For the past seven years, Mr. Litt was Founder and Principal of Monticello, overseeing all origination, underwriting, and strategic efforts. Prior to Monticello, Mr. Litt spent 15 years as President and then Chairman of The Kohl Companies (Kohl Solutions and Kohl Construction Group) developing, owning, and operating skilled nursing facilities and multifamily housing, including market rate and affordable housing financed through low-income housing and historic tax credits. Mr. Litt received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from New York University.
