Samir Achkar is a Director of Real Estate Lending at Greystone, where he originates loans for the acquisition, refinance, and development of various property types. Samir specializes in providing FHA financing to owners and developers of multifamily housing. He also leverages Greystone’s array of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMBS, mezzanine, and bridge products to provide a tailored financing arrangement for each of his clients.
Prior to joining Greystone, Samir was a HUD Asset Manager at JLL where he developed an understanding of the unique challenges and solutions that may arise throughout the life of a loan.
Samir earned his M.S. in Finance and G. Cert. in Real Estate from American University after receiving his B.S. in Finance from The University of Tampa.
