Charlie Baxter

Charlie Baxter is Chief Executive Officer of Greystone’s Agency lending business. In this role, he is responsible for shaping and driving the strategic vision for the platform, with a focus on long-term growth, innovation, and the continued expansion of Greystone’s Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lending relationships. Charlie provides leadership across all Agency lending teams, guiding the platform’s evolution and positioning it for future opportunities in the multifamily finance landscape.

Building on eight years as Greystone’s Chief Underwriter and head of GSC’s Agency underwriting function, he brings nearly two decades of experience in multifamily lending, credit, and related disciplines to his leadership role.

Charlie received a Bachelor of Science degree from Wofford College and an MBA from Georgia State University. He also holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Charlie is a Commander in the United States Naval Reserve.
