The Murray & Sydell Rosenberg Foundation
The Murray & Sydell Rosenberg Foundation, Inc. is Greystone’s philanthropic arm with a mission to alleviate suffering. Utilizing a thorough research process and direct engagement in the field, the Foundation attempts to both identify and address the most acute needs of those who are otherwise disempowered and neglected. Areas of focus include humanitarian aid, education, community enhancement, and healthcare around the globe.
Charity Match, volunteering, and local community engagement
Greystone encourages employees to embrace charitable activities through a generous company match program, local office charity budgets, and dedicated time off for volunteering. By enabling our employees, we support the many charities in our communities across the nation and abroad.
Harmony Housing
Harmony Housing, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Steve Rosenberg, is focused exclusively on affordable housing. Harmony Housing’s mission is to make a positive difference in people’s lives by providing safe and comfortable affordable rental housing, and fund charitable causes worldwide.
Why We Give Back
We believe the success of our firm is a direct result of giving back to those less fortunate. How else can we explain the magic that is Greystone? We started with nothing and never relied on any outside capital to become who we are today. But throughout our existence, we have given away at least half of our profits to help people. It is part of our DNA and ingrained in everything we do.
Throughout our existence, we have given away at least half of our profits to help others.
Our Impact
Greystone Day of Service
Greystone’s Annual Day of Service is a company-wide event that reflects two of the most essential pillars of our shared culture - charity and camaraderie. Every year, each Greystone office closes for one day so that employees can volunteer their time for a local cause. Through our Day of Service, our volunteers across 25 cities support dozens of charities around the country.
