Shiraz Jafri

Shiraz Jafri is a Jr. Originator at Greystone, specializing in sourcing and structuring market-rate and affordable multifamily debt. He originates FHA, Agency, bridge, CMBS, and other proprietary debt products. Prior to Greystone, he was a Senior Associate at Lument, sizing over 400 FHA MAP opportunities and contributing as an underwriting analyst for 20 deals totaling $345M+ in volume, including deals that closed or received a firm commitment. Recognized for collaboration and commitment to excellence, Shiraz received two Lument awards in 2024: the peer nominated Together We Are Award for building bridges across departments and the FHA/Affordable Housing MVP Award from Senior Leadership. Shiraz earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management & Business with an Economics minor from Skidmore College.
