Jeffrey Lavine

Jeffrey Lavine is an Executive Managing Director at Greystone with over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Before joining Greystone, he was the Founder and Principal of Parnassa Group, LLC, providing consulting, advisory, and expert witness services with a focus on debt and capital markets, deal execution, asset management, special situations, workouts, and restructurings.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Lavine was Managing Director and Co-Head of the U.S., European, and Japanese Commercial Real Estate Group for distressed assets at UBS AG. He was also a founding member and Head of Transaction Management and Loan Structuring for UBS Real Estate Finance. Prior to UBS, he served as Senior Managing Director at Bear, Stearns & Co., where he established and led Loan Closing and Structuring in the Commercial Mortgage Group.

Mr. Lavine earned a BA in Economics and Political Science, magna cum laude, from Tufts University. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a JD from Boston University School of Law, where he published an article on foreign investment in Japan.
