Jeff Lavine is Senior Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Greystone Commercial Capital and has over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to Greystone, Jeff served as the Founder and Principal of Parnassa Group, LLC, where he provided consulting, advisory and expert witness services in commercial real estate, focusing on debt and capital markets, deal execution, asset management, special situations, workouts, and restructurings.
Previously, Mr. Lavine served as Managing Director and Co-Head of the US, European and Japanese Commercial Real Estate Group for a distressed debt fund established by UBS. Prior to that, Mr. Lavine was a founding member and Head of Transaction Management and Loan Structuring for UBS Real Estate Finance. Before joining UBS, Mr. Lavine was a Senior Managing Director at Bear, Stearns & Co., where he created and headed Loan Closing and Structuring Group in the Commercial Mortgage Group.
Mr. Lavine holds a BA in Economics and Political Science, Magna Cum Laude, from Tufts University. He received an MBA from Columbia Business School and a JD from Boston University School of Law, where he is the author of a published article on foreign investment in Japan.
