Employees of Greystone’s New York Offices to Help Prepare Over 35,000 Meals for Delivery to Some of New York City’s Most Vulnerable Residents

Greystone, a commercial real estate lending, investment, and advisory company, and God’s Love We Deliver, a New York City-based non-profit that prepares and delivers nutritious, high-quality and medically tailored meals to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses, will team up during National Volunteer Week for a volunteer residency in celebration of Greystone’s annual “Day of Service.”

From April 8th though April 12th, over 160 New York-based Greystone employees will serve shifts in the God’s Love We Deliver kitchen helping to prepare meals for delivery. In a single day, God’s Love delivers 7,200 balanced meals, which are provided free of charge to local residents facing severe and chronic illness.

“As long-time supporters of God’s Love We Deliver, we are thrilled to dedicate our New York offices’ Day of Service to an entire week-long residency in the kitchen helping a cause that we love,” said Steve Rosenberg, founder and CEO, Greystone.

“With their week-long volunteer commitment, Greystone’s employees are directly contributing to preparing over 35,000 meals for our clients,” said David Ludwigson, Vice President & Chief Development Officer, God’s Love We Deliver. “We truly value their support of our cause over the years, and it’s especially meaningful during National Volunteer Week.”

Greystone’s employees in other offices around the U.S. volunteered on or around April 4 with charities including Rise Against Hunger (Raleigh, NC); Mid-South Food Bank (Memphis, Tenn); The Greater Boston Food Bank (Boston, MA); and the Fauquier Shelter (Warrenton, VA).
