Resource Real Estate Finance (RREF), a wholly owned subsidiary of Greystone Monticello LLC, has fully integrated into Greystone Monticello, a bridge lending platform serving as a one-stop shop provider of capital finance products and services for the multifamily and senior housing sectors. The RREF team, comprising Darryl Myrose, Charles Ostroff, Ross Brunello, and Chris Hetzel, is responsible for originating multifamily bridge loans nationally.

The team, outlined below, has 85 years of collective experience advising multifamily owners on their financing options for acquisitions, recapitalizations, and refinancings:

Darryl Myrose, Senior Managing Director, has more than 25 years of experience originating and managing commercial real estate debt investments. He most recently was a Managing Director for Trez Capital, and from 2006 to 2020, served as a co-head of national lending for the funding vehicle for Resource Capital Corp. In this capacity, he managed and oversaw a team that closed primarily middle-market bridge loans on all property types across the U.S.

Charles Ostroff, Senior Managing Director, was most recently SVP, Chief Credit Officer of Multifamily at Fannie Mae, where he was responsible for the Credit, Asset Management, and Governance regarding the operations of the Fannie Mae Multifamily Platform. In his nearly five years at Fannie Mae, Mr. Ostroff led the successful navigation of the multifamily portfolio through the Covid pandemic.

Ross Brunello, Managing Director, was previously a Principal and Senior Vice President at Morrison Street Capital where he was responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, and due diligence of new investments for the Morrison Street Funds. He brings experience across joint-venture, preferred and structured equity in addition to mezzanine & B-note financing for commercial real estate. Previously, Mr. Brunello served in origination roles at Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase, lending across all major property types nationwide.

Chris Hetzel, Managing Director, has over 17 years of experience in commercial real estate lending, asset management and credit analysis. Throughout the course of his career, he has originated, structured, underwritten and closed nearly $5 billion of commercial real estate debt products on various property types across the United States. Most recently, Mr. Hetzel was a Managing Director at ACRES Capital, where he originated floating-rate new bridge and construction debt collateralized by multifamily, office, retail, hospitality, self-storage and mixed-use properties.

“I am thrilled to work more closely with Darryl, Charles, Ross, and Chris on a range of multifamily finance transactions for which Greystone Monticello is a unique fit,” added Eric Baum, head of the multifamily sales desk at Greystone Monticello.
