Blake Willeford is a Managing Director and co-head of the Houston office for Greystone. He specializes in debt and equity placement transactions throughout the United States. With more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Mr. Willeford has completed capitalizations on a broad range of product types, including multifamily, retail, office, industrial, land, and self-storage. Capital assignments have included raising equity for multifamily construction and originating non-recourse fixed rate, mezzanine and bridge loans utilizing all capital sources including life insurance companies, banks, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMBS, and investment funds.
Before Joining Greystone in 2018, Mr. Willeford served as a Commercial Loan Officer at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, a national commercial mortgage banking firm, for seven years.
A native Houstonian, Mr. Willeford earned his B.A. from Trinity University and his M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a board member and 2018 President of the local chapter of the CCIM Institute and holds a Texas Real Estate Salesperson license. Mr. Willeford currently lives in the Historic Heights neighborhood of Houston with his wife and two children.
