Mr. Lally is responsible for overseeing Greystone Monticello’s seniors housing bridge and mezzanine lending activities. He oversaw $3 billion in loan originations as Founder and Principal of Monticello, where he spent the past seven years leveraging his deep relationships within the capital markets. Mr. Lally’s career commenced at the inception of the mortgage securitization era and has continued for over 35 years as the arena has grown vastly in product and depth. Mr. Lally began his career at First Boston, where he managed multifamily and commercial origination, and trading efforts. Prior to Monticello, in 2014, Mr. Lally was a Founding Partner and Managing Director at Ladder Capital, where he managed trading of mortgage-backed securities for over five years. Additionally, Mr. Lally worked at Merrill Lynch (two years), Daiwa Securities (three years), Greystone (five years), where he developed strong ties to executive management, and UBS / Principal Finance (10 years). Mr. Lally holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross.
