Tom Cox serves as a Managing Director for Greystone Management Solutions, and currently as Project Executive and liaison between Greystone’s Massachusetts office and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA). In this role he oversees day-to-day asset management for the MBTA, and advises on and facilitates property dispositions (sales, long-term leases, easements and other conveyances). He has helped our clients identify properties for disposition, which have produced millions of dollars in revenue and expense reductions. He has represented the MBTA in various real estate acquisitions, including general office, operational, and marine uses.
Mr. Cox joined Greystone in 2014 with nearly 18 years of experience in real estate services in the corporate and governmental environments. He previously was responsible for the strategic planning and portfolio management of a bank’s owned and leased assets, representing more than 9 million square feet in 12 states. He previously served as Town Planner in Hingham, MA, where he managed the municipal approval process on several substantial development projects including the Hingham Shipyard mixed use development and the Blackrock Country Club community. Mr. Cox holds a B.A. from Suffolk University.
